Robert L. ‘Bob' Craig, longtime sales rep

LIGHTHOUSE POINT, Fla. - Robert L. "Bob" Craig, a sales representative for more than 35 years and a former furniture retailer, has died. He was 74.
Craig sold lines including Currey & Company, Port 68 and Cooper Classics. Before he became a rep, he and his family owned and operated Deerfield Furniture Co. in Deerfield Beach, Fla., from 1947 to 1975. He was president of the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce in 1970-71.
He loved travel, football and playing golf. He attended college on a golf scholarship, had been a golf pro at Deerfield Country Club and was taught by Tommy Armour, appearing on the cover of Armour's book, "How to Play Your Best Golf All the Time."
He is survived by his wife, five daughters and 10 grandchildren.
