Comfort Solutions plans Dr. Breus line

Breus BreusWILLOWBROOK, Ill. -Top 10 bedding producer Comfort Solutions said last week that it will be the exclusive licensee of The Dr. Breus Bed, the mattress collection developed by clinical psychologist, author and sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus.
     Comfort Solutions will showcase the new Dr. Breus Bed program along with its other brands in its newly redesigned showroom at the Las Vegas Market, which opens Jan. 30. The new Dr. Breus Bed line incorporates a state-of-the-art sleep surface diagnostic system, officials said.
     The Dr. Breus Bed was launched by Breus in late 2010 under a license with International Bedding Corp., which recently ceased operations.
     The new program at Comfort Solutions will be backed with a comprehensive marketing plan for the line "that reflects the future of successful retailing," said company President Dave Roberts.
     "We're very excited about our alliance with Dr. Breus and the consumer's confidence and trust in his mission," Roberts said. "We recognize his credentials and expertise in the field of sleep and his achievements in developing bedding products and programs that simultaneously address sleep, health and life."
     Comfort Solutions and Breus will introduce an eight-model line that uses in-store diagnostics, as well as marketing concepts that will include information and Q&A sessions led by Breus at stores - all aimed at attracting shoppers and tapping consumers' interest in sleep issues and better sleep health, officials said.
