LAS VEGAS - The National Home Furnishings Assn. and its affiliate the Western Home Furnishings Assn. are giving away one lifetime membership during this month's Las Vegas Market, which runs Jan. 30-Feb. 3.
The raffle, sponsored by Emerald Home Furnishings, is open to all retailers who join the association during market.
To enter, retailers need to visit the Retailer Resource Center in World Market Center C-496 to join the retailer trade group before Friday, Feb. 3. A drawing will be held at noon on Feb. 3 and the retailer does not need to be present to win. Those who join will also receive $100 in free warehouse products.
"We are excited to offer retailers the opportunity to win a lifetime membership to the association, said Sharron Bradley, executive director of WHFA. "One lucky winner will have access to our money-saving programs, top-notch education and expansive retailer network for the life of their business."
Emerald is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and company President David Beckmann said he wanted to help retailers reach the same milestone.
"I feel that a strong industry association makes for stronger retailers and a stronger industry," Beckmann said. "The knowledge and information that comes from the association not only helps a retailer be savvier in their business, but also gives them tools to grow their businesses. That is the value behind the National and Western Home Furnishings associations."
