Accounting firm Smith Leonard honored

HIGH POINT - For the second straight year, High Point-based CPA firm Smith Leonard PLLC has been named "One of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For in the U.S." by Accounting Today and the Best Companies Group.
Smith Leonard's key industries of focus include home furnishings, manufacturing and distribution, transportation and construction. The firm tracks furniture factory orders and shipments as part of its monthly Furniture Insights newsletter.
Honorees on the list were chosen based on a two-part survey, said Ken Smith, managing partner of Smith Leonard. The first evaluates workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics and the second is an employee survey. The company also had to meet several eligibility requirements.
"Naturally, we're gratified to be named in this listing again," Smith said. "It's a tribute to our entire team, but the truth is it's just as much a tribute to our valued clients. We're grateful for their support and we're thankful to our associates for their loyalty and dedication."
