Pelican reef promotes Calzadilla to president

CalzadillaMIAMI - Pelican Reef Wicker, a manufacturer and distributor of casual furnishings, has announced the promotion of Allen Calzadilla to president of Pelican Reef and its subsidiary companies.
     Calzadilla grew up in the business since 1996 and received his bachelor's degree in 2001. Over the past five years, he has successfully filled the position of executive vice president of Pelican Reef. Under his leadership, the company has experienced unprecedented growth and has introduced a significantly broader range of products, officials said.
     "I am honored to have the support of the company and appreciate the confidence they have in my ability to lead this great company," Calzadilla said. "We have been able to evolve our business during these challenging times and are experiencing continued growth. I look forward to leading Pelican Reef Inc. to even greater heights in the years to come."
     The position of president was previously held by Angel Calzadilla, who has moved to the position of CEO. In this role, he will continue to oversee the company's strategic directions
