David Canfield elected president of Specialized Furniture Carriers Assn.

HIGH POINT — David Canfield, an executive with transportation services provider Interlog USA, has been elected president of the Specialized Furniture Carriers Assn.

Other 2012 officers are Patrick Cory of Cory Home Delivery, first vice president; and Joe Wade of Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, second vice president. Scott De Jong of De Jong Enterprises, who was the group's president last year, becomes chairman of the board.
Directors elected to serve three-year terms were Aimee Boozer of Sun Delivery and Rowland Branham of Worldwide Logistics. Continuing on the board are Carl Abernathy of Northwest Furniture Xpress and Ed Long of Sunbelt Furniture Xpress.
The organization is a division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance that serves carriers dedicated to the transportation and delivery of residential furnishings.
