Four Hands plans move to larger High Point, Las Vegas spaces

LAS VEGAS — Full-line furniture supplier Four Hands will occupy significantly larger showrooms at the High Point and Las Vegas markets later this year.

At next week's Las Vegas Market, the company will continue to show in spaces A-106, A-146 and A-110. But by the event's summer edition, the company will more than double its showroom space, from 8,800 square feet to nearly 20,000, in the Las Vegas Design Center at the south end of Building A.
The Las Vegas Design Center is a 42-showroom area in the World Market Center that is open to the public as well as the trade.
In High Point this spring, Four Hands will be in a 36,000-square-foot showroom formerly occupied by Berkline on the fourth level of Showplace. That's 64% more space than in its prior showroom in Union Square.
"Our growing footprint requires us to expand our presence in both key markets," Matthew Briggs, Four Hands president and CEO, said in a press release. He said International Market Centers, owner of the WMC and several High Point buildings, including Showplace, is "the ideal partner to facilitate our evolution."
Buyers with limited time at market will find it easier to shop the new spaces, Briggs said.
"Convenience is still key for buyers of both large and small retailers, so it's important that we adapt to the times and make it as easy as possible for buyers, designers and consumers to experience our collections. We are confident larger and more conveniently located showrooms will contribute to our future growth," he said.
Four Hands also showed for the first time at the New York Gift Show this month.
