Mega Group USA adds mattress inspection, lighting vendors

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. - Mega Group USA, a buying and Web marketing group for furniture, appliance, electronics and bedding retailers, has added MatTech and Service Lamp to its list of vendors.

The organization said both services are available to dealer members and will officially debut at Mega Group USA's March National Convention in Orlando, Fla.

MatTech specializes in mattress inspections with its Body Contour Instrument, which it said is a patent-pending engineered mattress inspection device.

The Body Contour Instrument provides the capability to measure both the left and right sides of a mattress for body contours as well as accurately measure for border defects, the group said. MatTech's white glove service has real-time reporting through its proprietary system as well as photography documentation.

Service Lamp Corp., a national lighting distributor that represents major lighting manufacturers including Philips, General Electric and Sylvania, will provide Mega dealers benefits including acting as a one-stop source for lighting needs, free energy cost analysis, best prices prices on Philips, Sylvania, GE light bulbs, free shipping on orders, no minimum order requirements and special price lists.

"The primary purpose of Mega Group USA's Business Services division is to create programs that produce revenue, reduce operating costs and eliminate customer service issues," said Mallory Parker, Mega Group USA business services director.
