UPDATE: Ante4Autism event in Las Vegas moves up registration time Tuesday

LAS VEGAS - Ante4Autism, a poker tournament here Tuesday that will raise funds for autism research, has bumped its registration time up to 6:30 p.m. to accommodate an appearance at 7 p.m. by professional poker player Karina Jett.
Jett will kick off the event at Binion's in downtown Las Vegas. Ante4Autism is a fundraiser hosted by home furnishings executives.
"We are very excited to have Karina Jett help us at our event," said co-host Jerry Williams, an executive with PMD Furniture Direct. "She is one of the top professional poker players in the world. "
Sponsors of the event also announced that they have added a silent auction to the event, conducted by The Pacific Auction Co.
"We will have approximately 30 fine art, sports, celebrity and other collectibles, photography, antiques, jewelry and ladies accessories and travel and leisure items," said Scott Graham of PMD Furniture Direct, another co-host. "We encourage everyone to bring their checkbooks and credit cards to bid and buy these incredible items."
The event is open to the public as well as all Las Vegas Market attendees. Participants can register and/or make donations online at www.ante4autism.com.
The sponsor list is headed by APJL Consulting, a $2,500 sponsor. Gold $1,000 sponsors include Leggett & Platt, Symbol Mattress, Roger Magowitz, Karl & Cathi Glassman, and Restonic. Silver $500 sponsors include Serta and Wright of Thomasville. Bronze $250 sponsors include Peggy Christmas, Mantua Mfg. and Ashley Furniture's Ohio sales representatives, Jake Monnier and Myra Stone.
The ante4autism.com site also is accepting bids on home furnishings, with all proceeds going to the organization, said Doug Krinsky of Restonic, another co-host.
Items available include a Restonic gel memory foam queen size set, a Simmons Beautyrest queen size set, an Eclipse Essential Sleep Gel queen or king size set, a foursome of golf at Ohio State's Scarlet golf course, a Sealy Posturepedic queen set, a Serta iComfort queen set, a leather sofa, an Ashley recliner and a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme queen set.
"Autism spectrum disorders are diagnosed now in one in 110 children in the United States, and 1 in 70 boys," said Krinsky.
