Sit 'n Sleep names Nelson Bercier president, promotes 2 others

GARDENA, Calif. - Southern California mattress retailer Sit 'n Sleep said it has promoted three key company executives, including a new president.
Named as president is , formerly senior vice president of sales. He succeeds Larry Miller, who will remain chairman of the board and CEO. Bercier has been with the company for over 25 years.
Kelly Young as been named vice president of sales. Young, who's been with the company for 10 years, previously was regional sales manager and has worked in the mattress industry for 15 years.
Tiffany Packman has been named vice president of human resources. Packman has worked in the human resources department for five years.
"With 28 locations and growing, we are proud to announce the internal promotions of three amazing team members who have shown outstanding loyalty, character and work ethic over the years," said Miller. "We are poised for an incredible 2012, and with Bercier, Young and Packman helping to lead our organization, I am confident that we will continue our incredible trajectory of success."
Over the past 12 months, Sit 'n Sleep has opened three new stores. All of its 28 locations are in Southern California.
