Leather Italia reorganizes management team
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 30, 2012
LELAND, N.C. - Leather upholstery resource Leather Italia has formed two new business divisions and reorganized its management team to focus on sales growth in specific distribution channels.
The company said Bob Miller, Leather Italia's controller since 2008, has been promoted to general manager of the traditional furniture store "bricks and mortar" division, while Tim Bohon, who joined the company in 2009, has been promoted to president of the e-commerce division.
Both will report to Leather Italia President Gene Miller.
"Bob will add energy and insight to our North American base of brick and mortar retailers," said Mike Campbell, CEO.
"And Tim has presented the skill sets necessary to lead this (e-commerce) division of our company. He will be supported by a great staff internally and will utilize this energy to enhance the division."
Bohon most recently was executive vice president and general manager of e-commerce, and earlier was executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Dwight Hardison remains vice president of merchandising and will support the product portfolios of the two new divisions and the existing OEM segment, said Campbell. The sales team from the bricks and mortar division will also report to Hardison.
