Verlo Mattress

MILWAUKEE — Verlo Mattress has added two employees to its leadership team.

The national sleep products company said Rick Feingold has been named vice president of sales and marketing and Angie Schatschneider has been named director of marketing. It said the two will bring their extensive experience in franchise marketing to grow the Verlo brand.

Rick Schatschneider

“It’s an exciting time for Verlo,” said Kathy Thornton-Bias, COO and president of Verlo Mattress. “The sleep industry is transforming — from product innovations to the integration of technology — and consumers are changing the way they shop for sleep products. Both Rick and Angie bring a wealth of marketing experience and industry knowledge, which will support us as we continue to expand our sleep offerings across the country.”

Feingold will lead product development efforts in his new role and assume the helm of Verlo’s marketing division. In this position, he will also oversee the integration of sales and marketing. In his previous roles at Rapid Air, Jacuzzi brand, and Technogel, Feingold created action plans that set the stage for how those companies reached customers and achieved competitive advantages, officials said.

Schatschneider will manage and activate the Verlo brand across a range of platforms under the umbrella of a well-positioned brand identity. She will build on her 15 years of experience as the creative services director at Batteries Plus, the company said.
