Former Restonic licensee, Tom Comer, dies

tom comerBUFFALO, N.Y. - Former Restonic licensee Tom Comer, who owned and operated factories here and in Fayetteville, N.C., died suddenly on Sunday. He was 54.

“Tom was an accomplished business man, devoted family member and a beloved member of our Restonic family,” Julia Rosien, Restonic’s brand director, wrote in a Facebook post. “He will be truly missed by our company as well as many, many people in the bedding industry.”

Comer sold his company about a year ago to a group led by bedding veteran Bob Sherman.

Born in Buffalo, Comer lived in Amherst, N.Y.
