FORT LEE, N.J. — Rug and carpet source Couristan will send two retailers on vacation to their choice of four-star tropical beach resorts. They're the winners of the company's 85th anniversary grand prize raffle, held at the recent Surfaces show in Las Vegas.
Matt Lund of Foremost Interiors, headquartered in Salt Lake City, and Jan Mink of KL Mink and Sons, operator of the Fine Rug Gallery at Macy's in New York, each won all-inclusive trips. They were picked in a random drawing from hundreds of entries, according to a press release from Couristan.
Lund and Mink will each receive a four-day, three-night trip for two to their choice of either the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, or the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The trip includes airfare, lodging, drinks and food.
"Couristan's 85 years of growth and success is due in large part to the ongoing support of our customers, and we felt that this landmark anniversary was the perfect opportunity to give thanks to our amazing network of dealers," said Ron Couri, president and CEO of Couristan. "We celebrated in many ways, with special discount offers at the winter 2012 markets and with this fabulous Grand Prize Get-Away Trip that I'm sure Matt and Jan will thoroughly enjoy. Our thanks go out to all of those that helped Couristan mark this important milestone in our corporate history."
