HIGH POINT — The National Home Furnishings Assn. has formed an alliance with Web4Retail to provide Internet marketing services to its members.
The services include website development, search engine optimization, social media marketing, reputation management and email marketing. Members can select a package offering or individual services.
"Our membership has requested that we develop a program in conjunction with a provider to handle all aspects of Internet marketing and social media," NHFA Executive Vice President Steve DeHaan said in a release. He added that Web4Retail was chosen after an extensive search.
NHFA members receive a 15% discount on all Web4Retail services, said Karin Mayfield, NHFA senior director of membership/member services.
A division of Keniston & Co., Web4Retail has more than 10 years of experience providing website design, Web marketing, search engine optimization, social media and e-commerce services.
"Web4Retail and the NHFA are alike in that we are committed to the preservation of the independent retailer," said Denise Keniston, Web4Retail president.
She said the NHFA program, already in place, has been designed for independent home furnishings retailers who have "seen a drastic change in the manner in which the consumer shops the category, as well as changes to the competitive landscape."
NHFA has more than 2,000 retail member operating nearly 5,000 stores.
