La-Z-Boy store closing in Charleston, W.Va.
SPCI to run the inventory sell-off
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 22, 2012
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The owners of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries showroom here and in Barboursville, W.Va., say they will close the Charleston location after they were unable to renew the lease.
Owners Dave Little and Kim Marion, who took over the location from former owners in 2008, will close the 13,000-square-foot showroom after selling off inventory.
"I want to assure all of our customers that this will not affect any current orders," Little said in a release. "We are remaining open in our Barboursville location and plan on serving our loyal customers for years to come."
The owners hired SPCI Cos. to run the inventory sell-off sale at both locations, which closed today and will reopen Saturday for the sale. The Barboursville store will match all store closing prices in Charleston, the company said.
