Jerry Brady, longtime bedding industry executive, dies at 77

RIPON, Wis. — Gerald "Jerry" Brady, a longtime executive in the bedding industry, has died at age 77.
Brady, an Army veteran, retired in 2005 from International Bedding Corp., where he had been vice president and chief financial officer since 1991. Before joining IBC, Brady worked at Sealy, where he was vice president and later treasurer. He also held positions at Stearns & Foster and Lifetime Foam Products, a former subsidiary of Sears.
Brady is survived by his wife, son, daughter, two stepchildren, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. March 3 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, with burial to follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery in Green Lake, Wis., with full military honors.
