ORLANDO, Fla. - Nationwide Marketing Group's PrimeTime Show, held here this week at the Gaylord Palms and Resort, attracted a record-breaking 3,400 dealers and vendors, according to Robert Weisner, the group's CEO.
During the show, Weisner told Furniture/Today that Nationwide, which added 300 new members within the past 12 months, is planning to add an additional 1,000 members during the next 24 months and that 40% of those dealers will have a presence in furniture.
Nationwide, which represents $12 billion in annual sales, is made up of dealers active in appliances, furniture and consumer electronics. Sales of furniture make up some $3 billion of that total.
Ray Allegrezza, editor-in-chief of Furniture/Today, attended the show and spoke to a number of retailers and exhibitors attending PrimeTime. Click on the video players below to see the interviews.
