Tuft & Needle adds Mint, its second mattress

T&N MintTuft & Needle's new Mint Mattress targets higher price points.
PHOENIX – Online mattress retailer Tuft & Needle has moved up in price points with the addition of a second mattress to its lineup.

The new 12-inch Mint Mattress, retailing at $895 in queen, features an upgraded construction, with “impressive, fresh features,” the company said.

Tuft & Needle’s original mattress, a 10-inch model, retails at $575 in queen.

The company said the new mattress can be purchased in T&N’s three retail locations and online at www.tn.com for delivery.

“One of the cornerstones of Tuft & Needle has always been listening to our customers,” said Tuft & Needle co-founder J.T. Marino. “This exciting new mattress model reflects hundreds of thousands of feedback touchpoints that we have collected over our five years in business, and takes amazing sleep to the next level.”

The Mint Mattress’ upgraded Ceramic Gel absorbs five times more heat than conventional blue-gel products and includes 30% more gel beads in the second layer, adding gradual cooling support. The Mint Mattress also incorporates T&N’s open-cell foam technology, which allows air to flow freely through the mattress, increasing breathability. Surrounded by a premium slate gray quilted cover, the Mint features increased edge support in the 12-inch model, officials said.

Like the original T&N mattress, the Mint Mattress works with most frames and foundations and completes T&N’s product suite, providing “the ultimate sleep experience” when paired with T&N’s frame, a pillow made with the brand’s T&N Adaptive Foam and sheets made with 100% Supima cotton, the company said.
