Linen source Libeco Lagae in new space for Showtime
Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, May 15, 2012
HIGH POINT — Libeco Lagae, which says it is Belgium's largest and oldest linen producer, has moved from a temporary space in Market Suites to a 1,500-square-foot permanent in Market Square Tower here for the upcoming Showtime fabric show, June 3-6.
The company said that as it continues to grow and expand its product line, the showroom, in space 382 on the tower's third floor, will allow customers to explore the diversified, high-added-value linen products it offers. The new space also was open during the April High Point Market.
For more than 150 years and five generations of management by the Libeert family, the parent company, Libeco Lagae N.V., has offered an exclusive collection of high-quality, pure and blended linen fabrics for furniture, upholstery, windows, apparel, decorative accessories and pillows, blankets and rugs, officials said.
Libeco Lagae says it offers piece-dyed linen in many assortments, such as plaids, stripes, wide-width, glazed and chintzed linen.
At Showtime, the company will introduce a new line that includes a new plaid collection, core solids, new stripes and other 100% Belgian linen styles.
