NORWALK, Ohio — Upholstery and custom dining specialist Norwalk Furniture has named four current employees to newly created executive positions.

The company said the promotions are meant to support sales growth and recognize a team that help the company succeed since a group of investors purchased the manufacturer, saving it from closure, in 2008.

"This executive team has not only turned the company around financially, but has strengthened and expanded our product line, improved customer service, broadened our customer base, and launched an integrated marketing program," Norwalk President Dan White said in a press release.

Tim Hallock, a 28 year veteran of the company, was named vice president of manufacturing. Hallock has helped streamline the company's production and will focus on managing manufacturing operations and maintaining its 35-day delivery policy.

Reyna Moore was named vice president of marketing and merchandising. She has worked with Norwalk since 1994 in leadership positions in international sales, customer service, operations and management of the company's licensed brands.

Phil Cline was named vice president of eastern regional sales. He will concentrate on building and supporting current business, sales in new markets, and directing sales operations in the eastern region. He began his career at Norwalk as a sales representative in 1980.

Carrie Norris was named vice president of business development. She joined Norwalk last year, with 13 years of retail experience. In addition to continuing to build and support current business, Norris will lead expansion into new markets and direct sales operations in the western U.S., with Norwalk including a move to the Las Vegas market this year.
