UPDATE: Mega Group USA partners with Profit Management Promotions

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Furniture, electronics and appliance buying group Mega Group USA has signed an agreement with Profit Management Promotions, making the liquidator and promotional sales company a partner service provider.
PMP will provide Mega's dealers "expert and unique concepts to run profitable promotional events," according to a PMP release.
"Together, we are able to help retailers become stronger faster than ever before," said Ron Cooper, PMP director of sales and marketing. "Our goal is to see the independent stores of America thrive not just because two-thirds of our economy is driven by small businesses, but also because they offer timeless values that are disappearing in the big-box chain stores."
Until now, Mega hasn't endorsed or offered any similar programs and was "very deliberate in choosing a vendor," the buying group's Business Services Director Mallory Parker said in the release.
"In many of today's markets, occasional long-term promotional events are needed to supplement a dealer's regular advertising and marketing program," he said.
