SuperCat, Ampac offer inventory updates on new iPad app

WILSON, N.C. — Continually updated inventory data is now available to suppliers through a new iPad app from SuperCat Solutions and third-party furniture logistics company Ampac Forwarding.

The Ampac inventory control system automatically uploads inventory levels of each supplier's product into Supercat's system on a set schedule or as needed.

The iPad tool should make inventory data management easier, company officials said in a press release.

"We've made it very easy for companies that outsource their logistics and warehousing to third party providers like Ampac to automatically maintain accurate inventory and product information in eCat," said Steve Thrasher, president of SuperCat Solutions.

Ampac provides warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment and invoicing. SuperCat develops and markets the iPad sales presentation and order taking tool.
