Longtime sales rep Edwin Coleman dies at 66

CORINTH, Miss. — Edwin Brewster Coleman, a longtime sales representative, has died at age 66.
Coleman had worked as a sales representative for the past 29 years, most recently with Southern Seating.
Previously, he worked in law enforcement, including time in the FBI and as a criminal investigator. He served two terms as sheriff of Alcorn County, Mississippi.
Survivors include his wife, a son, two daughters, nine grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Oakland Baptist Church, Corinth. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
