Smithe names Lloyd Lutz its Furniture Representative of Year

CHICAGO — Walter E. Smithe Furniture here has named Lloyd Lutz, a 40-year industry veteran who represents upholstery source Hancock and Moore, as its Furniture Representative of the Year.

The retailer said Lutz, of Aurora, Ill., earned the award for his prompt and accurate service, effective sales meeting strategies, new staff training presentations, and for keeping the stores up to date on product introductions and sales promotions.
"Thank you to the Smithe brothers for the honor of this fine award," Lutz said. "I feel fortunate to represent Hancock and Moore in the 11 stores, and thoroughly enjoy working with you and your employees."
As a thank you, the Smithes sent Lutz and his wife, Debbie, on an all-expenses-paid trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico - a vacation the couple timed to coincide with their 38th wedding anniversary.
