American Signature launches Pinterest contest

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Furniture retailer American Signature has launched a Pinterest contest that gives consumers a chance to win a $500 gift card by following its American Signature and Value City brands and creating boards containing their favorite items from the stores.

To enter, social media followers of Value City Furniture would create a board titled "Value City Furniture's SoFANtastic Giveaway," pin at least 10 of their favorite items from Value City's website and add the hashtag #ValueCityPinToWin to all board photos.

Followers of the Columbus-based Top 100 company's American Signature stores would do the same thing, only substituting that store's name in place of Value City, and pinning items from American Signature's website.

Entries and boards are due by midnight Eastern time Sept. 29. Each week, one winner per brand will be chosen at random for the gift card to the stores.
