Heller joins Thomasville in new VP role

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, September 17, 2012

ST. LOUIS - Furniture Brands International has hired Gregory Heller to fill the newly created position of vice president, Thomasville retail, and chief creative officer.
Heller will be responsible for the creative direction and merchandising of the Thomasville brand and will oversee the company-owned Thomasville stores.
Heller was the director of merchandising and product development for high end source Baker Furniture. He also has experience in product development, portfolio management, visual merchandising and sales management for retailers including Plunkett Furniture, JCPenney, Lerner New York and The Children's Place.
"Gregory's retail background, combined with his product portfolio development work, will be a great addition to the Thomasville team," said Ed Teplitz, president of Furniture Brands companies Thomasville and Drexel Heritage. "Putting Gregory in this role assures an intense focus on Thomasville's brand essence, from product development all the way to the ‘ooh and the ahh' of a great in-store experience."
