Scott
WEST POINT, Miss. - Imagine Home Furnishings by Davis is the new name of the former Davis International, according to Hunter Davis, CEO of the full-line manufacturer.
Davis also announced the additions of industry veterans Lee Scott and Davy Crockett to the executive team.
"Because of recent changes in the way we're thinking about our manufacturing division, we decided to update the name with something fresh and powerful," Davis said.
He said Imagine Home Furnishings is focusing on original design and increased cost-effective manufacturing in both case goods and upholstery under the guidance of Crockett and Terry Furr. Crockett is in charge of the upholstery line and joined Davis after retiring from Southern Motion. Furr is in charge of case goods.
Scott joined Davis

as head of the sales force. He has 17 years of industry experience, most recently as vice president of sales for Harden Mfg.
Although they started working at the company earlier this year, Scott and Crockett will make their first joint High Point Market appearance in October.
"All of us here at Davis welcome the experience and expertise of both these guys," said Hunter Davis. "They hit the ground running and what they've done so far is going to make this a very exciting market."
"We've concentrated on putting together a sales team that is customer-oriented," Scott said. "These are guys who know their lines and know their customers. It's a winning combination."
Although a few pieces remain from the previous Davis International line, 80% of the showroom will feature new original designs from Crockett and Furr.
Crockett said that designing product is "what I love to do most. It's about putting the whole package together and seeing if the salespeople and retailers ‘get it.'"
In High Point, Davis shows in Center Point on Russell, space 100.
