Dennis Valkanoff joins Mega Motion in business development role

EXETER, Pa. — Mega Motion, a resource for power lift chairs and recliners, has hired furniture industry sales veteran Dennis Valkanoff as director of new business development, retail sales.

In the newly created post, Valkanoff will focus on cultivating relationships in the retail furniture business, strengthening sales associations and ensuring that the Mega Motion line continuously delivers the quality, options and features for which it is known.

The company said Valkanoff will work with BCRM Enterprises, a sales representative group headed by former Berkline executive Bob Bruns, in hopes of becoming the leading supplier of power lift chairs, scooters and travel mobility products for furniture retailers.

"With a customer-first focus and ability to ship from six distribution centers within 24 hours, Mega Motion is able to provide our retail partners with services that make doing business with us effortless," Valkanoff said.

Valkanoff has work in various furniture industry sales, product development and marketing for more than 20 years. Most recently, he was with 45th Parallel Furniture, a start-up upholstery venture. He earlier worked for England, Chromcraft-Revington and Berkline.

Mega Motion is a subsidiary of Pride Mobility Products, a supplier of lift chairs and other mobility products for the healthcare market.
