RTA upholstery maker Simplicity Sofas launches e-commerce site

Simplicity Sofas is selling its ready-to-assemble upholstery from a new website.

HIGH POINT — Upholstery manufacturer and retailer Simplicity Sofas has launched a fully functional e-commerce website.

The company, which specializes in making ready-to-assemble sofas, chairs and sectionals "for small spaces and tight places," said the new site enables consumers to easily navigate the company's product line and see all available fabric options.

"We were able to illustrate fabric swatching on the physical frame as part of our recent internal technology upgrade," said Denise Keniston, president of Web4Retail, the company that designed the site. "All of Simplicity Sofa's product array can be accessed easily due to the enhanced navigation that we specifically created for Simplicity's purposes."

Jeff Frank, president and owner of Simplicity, said he believes the new site, along with a national advertising campaign that is about to be launched, will boost the company's business.

"This is one of the cleanest and easiest furniture websites I've seen," he said. "I feel that it is comparable to the sites of several major furniture companies with six-figure website development budgets."
