Monday, 15 Oct. 2012 - Furniture Today's Ray Allegrezza talks with Jim Ziozis, chief executive of Powell Company, about the new licensing partnership with The Bombay Company. Powell has unveiled several Bombay-branded items at this week's High Point Market in its showroom at 200 S. Main St.

Sunday, 14 Oct. 2012 -Furniture Today's Editor-in-Chief Ray Allegrezza interviews designer, author and HGTV host Candice Olson at the 2012 Fall High Point Market. She reviews her new collection for Highland House that includes more than 80 pieces of upholstery and case goods in the initial launch and is described by Olson as "modern meets traditional." Highland House is located at Market Square 142 on the first floor of the building.

Saturday, 13 Oct. 2012 -Furniture Today's Ray Allegrezza continues his video coverage of the Fall 2012 High Point Market as he interviews Keeler's Tom Guido about the need to protect intellectual property rights in furniture manufacturing. Guido said one of the most effective weapons was better awareness in the industry of infringement activities. He called on the industry as a whole to a do a better job of identifying possible cases and bringing them to light.

Friday, 12 Oct. 2012 -Furniture Today's Ray Allegrezza talks to Chuck Rudwall, president and CEO of Luonto Furniture, about his company offering a chance to win a car during the High Point Market. Visitors will have the chance to win a luxury, electric hybrid Fisker Karma sports car valued at $113,000. Buyers must register in the Luonto showroom at 220 Elm, space 306. UPDATE: Jimmy Otto of Danish importer-exporter DSV Air and Sea, won $2,000 in Luonto Furniture purchasing dollars in a giveaway contest at the High Point Market. Otto had a chance to win the high-end Fisker Karma electric hybrid roadster in a contest sponsored by Luonto, but failed to open the correct series of envelopes. The car is on display outside 220 Elm, where Luonto shows in space 306. (click on video below)
