Surfaces flooring show to coincide with winter Las Vegas Market
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 8, 2012
LAS VEGAS — Flooring market show Surfaces will hold its 2013 and 2014 shows in Las Vegas on dates that coincide with the winter Las Vegas Markets.
Surfaces 2013 will be held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center Jan. 28-31, featuring floor covering products, tools, educational programs and installation demonstrations, according to a release. The Las Vegas Market at World Market Center is slated for Jan. 28-Feb. 1.
"We are very excited about the strategic partnership and the benefits that it brings to our attendees" said Surfaces Group Director Dana Teague.
Teague said the dates of the two markets coincided in 2011, but scheduling conflicts kept the shows a week apart this year, "and we were met with disappointment from our attendees."
Holding the shows concurrently gives "our customers a convenient, one-stop-shopping opportunity, saving them both time and money," Teague said.
Organizers said there will be registration benefits for buyers attending both markets, and said the coinciding dates give buyers more educational and networking opportunities.
In 2014, the Las Vegas Market runs Jan. 27-31. Dates for the Surfaces show were not immediately available.
