Capris Furniture giving away truckload of goods at High Point Market

New outdoor product from Beechcraft, a division of Capris Furniture Inds., includes this Vera Cruz dining set.

OCALA, Fla. — To help celebrate its 25th anniversary, Capris Furniture, a supplier of upholstery, wicker and rattan furniture, is giving one lucky customer a chance to win a truckload of furniture during the High Point Market.

The company will hold a drawing in conjunction with the gala anniversary party it is hosting at its showroom on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Buyers are also invited to visit the showroom on the third floor of 243 S. Main St. to register for a daily drawing for an iPad.

In related news, Beachcraft, a Capris division that shows at 207 S. Main St. has announced that it will introduce six outdoor collections featuring seating and dining products. All are offered in standard imported foam or can be upgraded to deluxe domestically manufactured reticulated Dacron-Wrapped Foam Cushions.

Each of the frames on the six collections features powder-coated aluminum and woven materials utilizing a continuous weave of Hularo, a registered trademark product of outdoor synthetic rattan.

Hularo is a polyethylene based, extruded and vat-dyed synthetic fiber said to be longer lasting than natural fibers such a wicker or rattan. It is durable, tear-proof and highly resistant to UV chlorine and salt water, lotions, microorganisms, and stains from food or drink, including alcohol, according to the company.

Other new introductions include the Belize 9852 Series, which features a sectional seating collection with contemporary flair in a grey Finish. The Vera Cruz 9853 is offered in a Hara Teak finish and is of a modern, minimalist design. The company will also show the West Indies 9858 Series, featuring a deep, dark brown wicker weave.
