Maria Yee to open big new High Point showroom

AT THE MARKET — Case goods and upholstery source Maria Yee is showing in a new 36,000-square-foot showroom here and is offering an expanded selection of fabrics.

The showroom at 119 N. Wrenn St. has access from both Main and Wrenn streets and features 15 foot ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling window, hardwood floors and stainless steel details.

The company also has a 3,000-square-foot hospitality area named Club 88 that will be used to host meetings, parties, and industry functions. The club will serve daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour drinks during market.

"This new space will allow us to serve our customers in an exciting and vibrant arena. It allows us to showcase the breadth and diversity of our EcoLuxury product lines," Maria Yee, president and chief designer, said in a press release.

The company has 46 new fabric patterns here, among other introductions.

A grand opening party at the new showroom will be held on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
