Stanley reorganizes product development efforts

Adam Tilley to oversee product development at Stanley, Young America

HIGH POINT - Case goods resource Stanley Furniture has announced that its vice president of product development, Adam Tilley, is now responsible for the Stanley and Young America product lines.

Tilley has been overseeing development of Stanley's adult product lines, which include imported bedroom, dining room, and occasional furniture. Now he will also oversee development of youth furniture under the domestic Young America line.

The responsibilities were formerly handled by Ward O'Quinn, product manager for Young America. O'Quinn will continue to develop new youth product, but will report to Tilley.

Harold Mabe, currently product management and engineering coordinator, reports to O'Quinn. Tilley reports to Glenn Prillaman, president and CEO.

"Our product development process combines creativity, innovation in design and a sixth sense for reading the needs of the marketplace with quantitative market research and an attention to the details associated with change and their effects on our customer base," Prillaman said in a statement. "This new organizational structure allows us to capitalize on the individual strengths Adam and Ward bring to this collective process."
