Singapore opens registration for March 9-13 furniture fair

SINGAPORE — The International Furniture Fair Singapore 2013/ASEAN Furniture Show has opened pre-registration for its annual show, which will next be held from March 9-13 at the Singapore Expo.

The event, held in conjunction with the Décor Show 2013 and The Hospitality Show 2013, has sold about 85% of its available exhibition space at the Singapore Expo, officials said.

The 2012 show held this past March featured 512 exhibitors showing indoor, outdoor and hospitality furniture in about 700,000 square feet of the Singapore Expo. The show drew 23,552 trade visitors, including 118 overseas buying delegations.

"We're looking forward to another strong showing at IFFS 2013," Clement Ng, IFFS chief operating officer, said in a statement. "Our exhibitors say that this platform is consistently one of the most important for their businesses because of its prominent focus on design, and the high quality of exhibits on display yearly. Buyers come from all over the region for these reasons too, to ensure that they get the best in design and quality from the top suppliers in the industry."
