Negad named to VP post at Tepperman's

WINDSOR, Ontario - Tepperman's has promoted Masoud Negad to vice president of operations and supply chain for the Windsor-based furniture, mattress, appliance and electronics retail chain.
He joins the company's executive leadership team and has responsibility for supply chain, logistics, warehousing and home delivery.
Negad, formerly appliances and electronics buyer and director of supply chain, started with Tepperman's in 1987 as a salesperson in the Chatham, Ontario, store. He advanced to other positions over the years, earned an MBA in 2005, and brings a number of strengths to the senior leadership team including analytics, problem solving, leadership, a strong regard for the mission, vision and values of the company, and a passion for the business, officials said.
"I'm extremely pleased that Tepperman's was able to fill this new position from within our existing team of talented leaders," said Andrew Tepperman, president. "We're very proud of Masoud's accomplishments. With this addition to our executive team, we're the strongest we've ever been and our retailing future becomes that much more exciting."
Tepperman's operates seven stores under the Tepperman's and Bargain Annex banners.
