Kingsdown hires Gutierrez
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 13, 2012
MEBANE, N.C. - Bedding manufacturer Kingsdown has hired Ray Gutierrez as plant manager for the company's newest facility in Stockton, Calif.
He will be responsible for quality management and employee safety as well as select sales initiatives. He will report to John Farnham, Kingsdown's vice president of manufacturing.
"Ray has a tremendous understanding of plant operations and quality control, and he'll be an excellent leader for our California plant," Farnham said. "His expertise is crucial to this operation because Kingsdown's Stockton facility has been a true startup, producing product for only a year and half now."
Gutierrez, who has more than 20 years of bedding industry experience, most recently worked as facility manager for Englander.
Kingsdown's Stockton facility opened in 2010 to better service the company's growing West Coast business.
