Next Generation-Now hosts market gathering
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 13, 2012
HIGH POINT - The Next Generation-Now group will host a Chatter Over Cocktails reception during the High Point Market on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The networking event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Market Square, showroom 272. It will feature what the group calls an Ignite Session on that will focus on Leveraging Technology to Grow Your Business, and will feature experts from Best Buy for Business, FurnitureDealer.net, Profitsystems and R&A Marketing.
Attendees will listen to five-minute presentations by the experts, then will share what they've learned and talk about how they plan to use the ideas from the exchange in their businesses.
"The Ignite Sessions gives NGN members an opportunity to learn from the experts and from each other," said Alex Macias, a member of the group's advisory committee. "It will add another level of education to our already great networking events. And since the event is for two hours, there will be plenty of time to learn and network with each other."
The Chatter over Cocktails event is sponsored by Comfortaire, International Market Centers and FurnitureDealer. net. Next Generation-Now is a hosted community of the National Home Furnishings Assn. and Western Home Furnishings Assn.
RSVP for the event by visiting the group's social site at http://social.ngnow.org/events or http://tinyurl.com/FBngnRSVP.
