Clive Daniel names Soulliere CFO

NAPLES, Fla. - Furniture retailer Clive Daniel Home has hired David Soulliere as chief financial officer, responsible for business operations and for leading the retailer's growth and expansion into other areas of Florida, according to the company.
He replaces Craig Nesvik, the retired CFO of the former Robb & Stucky, who was CFO on an interim basis. Nesvik continues with Clive Daniel in an advisory role and helping with real estate allocation.
Soulliere previously was CFO of MGM Mirage Retail in Las Vegas, where he played a key role in increasing sales and profits of a $300 million retail operation with 300 stores, according to a release. Earlier, he held financial leadership, business planning and operations roles at companies including Bath & Body Works, Frito-Lay, Avon Products and Nortel Networks.
"His work with major corporations has given him a wealth of knowledge in finance and logistics, making him a key player not only in daily operations, but also in future growth," said Clive Daniel President Dan Lubner.
Soulliere said he was impressed with Clive Daniel's efforts in establishing its brand in just one year. The upscale 85,000-square-foot Clive Daniel Home store opened in Naples in November 2011 and is on target to exceed $20 million in sales during its first year of operation, the company said.
It is seeking additional expansion opportunities in Florida, but has yet to elaborate on the plans.
"Their business concept is excellent, their quality products are uniquely presented and their growth prospects are exciting," he said. "The next step is to refine the business model so it can be scaled for measured growth. I am looking forward to helping take Clive Daniel Home to the next level."
