Stickley giving away one of 2013 Collector Edition wine racks

Stickley Furniture is giving consumers a chance to win a limited-edition wine rack in an online giveaway.

MANLIUS, N.Y. — Case goods and upholstery producer Stickley Furniture is offering a chance to win a 2013 Collector Edition wine rack to those who register on its website, www.stickley.com.

The giveaway will be open throughout 2013 for the wine rack, which has a suggested retail of $1,665.

The piece is made from either solid quartersawn white oak or solid cherry and can hold 20 bottles. It also has a serving tray and storage compartment that conceals a solid cherry cheeseboard, along with an inlay in the top rail that consists of maple, walnut, pear and ebony. The piece is available in the company's full range of hand-rubbed finishes.

A day before the October High Point Market, the company unveiled the wine rack in an e-mail it sent out to thousands of previous purchasers of Stickley limited edition pieces. Within 24 hours it had sold all 100 of the items.

The company also is giving away a 2012 Collector Edition cabinet in oak or cherry and is accepting entries through the end of this year. The winner will be drawn in January.
