SYDNEY, Australia — Decoration + Design 2013 will run at the Sydney Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbor, Australia, Feb. 6-8, coinciding with the Australian International Furniture Fair. Registration to AIFF includes admittance to Decoration + Design.
AIFF and Decoration + Design host a two-day International Industry Seminar Series during the annual fair. An earlier story on this site contained incorrect information about the speaker lineup. The speakers for 2013 are:
• Abigail Ahern, a British interior designer, retailer, author and television personality.
• Mark Woodman, a U.S. trend analyst, editor and design and color specialist.
• Greg Natale, an Australian who promotes the integration of design and decoration, focusing on residential, retail and commercial design.
• Amanda Talbot, an Australian who has worked with designer Karl Lagerfeld, been a trend forecaster for Ikea and was the associate editor of British Elle Decoration.
• Melissa Wittig, an Australian health-focused interior designer and owner of Healthy Interiors. Her philosophy embraces human health as the inspiration for sustainable living and assists consumers with design the perfect space for their health and wellbeing.
One feature at AIFF will be Still Made Here, which will showcase Australian manufacturers and furniture.
