Binke joins Kluft in executive role

BinkeRANCH OCU - CAMONGA, Calif. - E.S. Kluft & Co., maker and distributor of the Aireloom and Kluft brand luxury mattresses, said that David Binke, a 30-year industry veteran, has joined the company to help set its strategic direction and head sales and marketing efforts in the central and eastern United States.
     Binke most recently was executive vice president of sales for Comfort Solutions.
     Previously, he was executive vice president of sales for the Spring Air brand under several ownerships, one of which was a 10-year partnership with Earl Kluft, E.S. Kluft & Co.'s president and CEO, when Kluft owned the nation's largest Spring Air plant. Earlier in his career, Binke was a buyer with Robinsons-May and a divisional merchandise manager for Macy's and Montgomery Ward.
     Company officials said Binke will focus on the East and select national accounts. Howard Galant, senior vice president of sales, will now oversee the western United States and select export accounts for the two brands.
     "As our business has grown significantly in the East and with our new larger plant in Pennsylvania, we needed to expand our executive management team to help us continue to grow and develop deeper relationships with our dealers," said Kluft. "I have known David for a very long time and we had both successfully worked together along with Howard for many years."
