Martin hires John Maggay as channel development manager

SAN DIEGO — Case goods manufacturer and importer Martin Home Furnishings has hired John Maggay as channel development manager.
He previously was with video games accessories manufacturer MadCatz, where he worked for seven years as e-commerce sales manager.
At Martin, he reports to Paul Tabeek, vice president of sales and marketing. In addition to providing sales support for the organization, Maggay will oversee online sales and marketing and help grow e-commerce sales with new and existing customers.
"John has a strong background in e-commerce," Tabeek said in a statement. "His extensive understanding of this rapidly growing channel will help us stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing climate of online sales."
