Maggay joins Martin Home

MaggaySAN DIEGO - Case goods manufacturer and importer Martin Home Furnishings has hired John Maggay as channel development manager.
     He fills a position previously held by Paul Tabeek, who was recently promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. Maggay also will be an e-commerce account specialist, a position that had been vacant.
     He previously was with video games accessories manufacturer MadCatz, where he worked for seven years as e-commerce sales manager.
     At Martin, he reports to Tabeek. In addition to providing sales support for the organization, Maggay will oversee online sales and marketing and help grow e-commerce sales with new and existing customers.
     "His extensive understanding of this rapidly growing channel will help us stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing climate of online sales," Tabeek said in a statement.
