New Phifer lines at Showtime

HIGH POINT - Designer outdoor fabric specialist Phifer Inc. will be a first-time exhibitor at the Showtime fabric show here, Dec. 2-5.
     Its introductions will include GeoBella eco-friendly plush cushion fabrics and Phifertex sleek sling fabrics. Phifer will show in 1-534 in the Suites at Market Square.
     New collections called Leisurely Living, Garden Getaway, Casual Coast and Canvas are influenced by nature, coastal waters and the tropics, according to the company. They include a variety of colors and intricately woven designs in dobbies, wicker weaves, stripes and jacquards.
     Phifer's Designed Fabrics have been certified as meeting Greenguard Children and Schools standards for commercial use. The company's Slingable Phifertex Outdoor Fabrics and 100% recyclable GeoBella Cushion Fabrics have earned Select Certification by Greenguard Environmental Institute for superior air quality performance, meaning they adhere to VOC and formaldehyde level limits and meet lead and phthalate content requirements.
     Phifertex can be used in awning, umbrella, pillow and new and other exterior applications, according to company officials.
     Phifertex Outdoor Fabrics also are infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection, which helps prevent the growth of stain- and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew, the company said.

Phifer will introduce several new fabric collections at Showtime.
