Swann's Furniture & Design opens its fifth showroom

TYLER, Texas - Swann's Furniture & Design has opened a 35,000-square-foot showroom on Old Jacksonville Highway here, in a 51,000-square-foot building that also includes warehouse space.
     Owned by Betty and Elam Swann III, the retailer has been in business in Tyler since 1895.

Swann’s owners Betty and Elam Swann III are surrounded by store associates, family and friends.

     This is the fifth location for the store, which offers bedroom, living room and dining room furniture; a spa-like sleep shop; custom-designed items; fine art, accents and rugs.
     The latest addition to the store is the Outdoor Living department.
     Portions of the grand opening proceeds were presented to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County, Texas, in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Swann Jr.
