Wright Global names VPs, restructures team

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 26, 2012

THOMASVILLE, N.C. - Wright Global Graphic Solutions, a provider of marketing services and branding support for the home furnishings industry, said it has restructured its sales teams in an effort to deepen and strengthen its sales force.
In the new structure, Wright veterans Kim Grubb and Lanny Jarrell have been named to new vice president of sales roles, joining Lou Paige, who remains a vice president of sales. Each of the execs oversees new sales divisions.
Grubb has been with the company nearly 25 years. She started as an administrative assistant and rose through account management ranks, where she was most recently responsible for new business acquisition, working with existing clients. In her new role, Grubb will continue to be involved in solutions development and direct sales to key accounts. She will also manage a team of account executives, customer service associates, artists and project managers.
Paige joined Wright in 2009 after more than two decades in the bedding industry in sales, marketing and merchandising. Paige will use his client relationships to further the company's business development and will work with domestic and international accounts. He will also play a role in helping to grow Wright's presence in South America and Central America.
Jarrell, formerly an account executive, has been promoted to vice president of sales in the home furnishings division after 43 years with the company. His career at Wright started in the plant, where he managed a small group of employees. In 1974, he was promoted to account executive and was responsible for bringing in new business and maintaining long-standing accounts.
"Our tremendous growth over the past few years has created a greater need for experienced executives who can strategically help grow our brand even further," said Wright President and CEO Greg Wright.
"This restructuring will bring more depth to our sales team, allowing for greater delegation, enhanced client services and vertical growth that will ultimately produce a superior product," Wright added. "These promotions are the first in a series of strategic moves that our company is making to implement our strategic growth plan."
