Surya's Satya Tiwari named to list of top business leaders in Atlanta for second year

CALHOUN, Ga. — Surya U.S. President Satya Tiwari was recognized by Business to Business magazine this month as one of Atlanta's Top 25 Entrepreneurs for 2012.

An annual awards ceremony honored entrepreneurs for achievements toward innovative business development in their industries and the local community.

This is Tiwari's second consecutive year on the list, and he moved up to No. 6 from No. 17 last year. The magazine cited the continuing growth of the Surya brand, which has posted yearly double-digit growth under his leadership since 2004, to sales of $55 million in the last year.

"I'm incredibly honored to be recognized by the Business Leader organization as a part of their list of 2012's Top 25 Entrepreneurs," Tiwari said. "I find myself in great company with the other Atlanta area business leaders included. This award inspires me to continue moving the Surya brand forward - exploring innovative new solutions to meet our customers' needs."

He and other Top 25 honorees will be profiled in the November-December issue of Business to Business magazine.
