Big Chair back at Bennington, Vt., furniture store

BENNINGTON, Vt. — A nearly 20-foot tall ladderback chair known as a local landmark returned here newly rebuilt on Saturday, a story in The Rutland Herald reports.
Once known as the "Big Chair," it has been gone for more than a decade. An unveiling drew dozens of people to a former Haynes & Kane furniture store location that closed in 2006, which recently reopened as a LaFlamme's appliance, electronics and furniture retail store.
Its owner, Christopher LaFlamme, had a new chair similar to the old one built, the story said.
